The Alliance Group

Alliance_Group_LogoThe Alliance Group is a brand new company – that was established in October 2009.

The company is a partnership or alliance  between NCS Holdings Limited and GCC Services – to provide Catering and services to LNG projects in Papua New Guinea.

Before the company was a formally  established entity, Sue Liu was involved with the formation of the business partnership on behalf of her client NCS – who was seeking to form an alliance with a Kuwait based GCC Services – to tender for the multiple large scale projects in PNG – specifically LNG projects.

Sue worked as part of the team of 5 to lead the all critical strategic positioning and marketing of the new entity -  under intense pressure and exceptionally short timeframes to:

  • Establish partnership ground rules and positioning statements for a) the new entity b) partnership entities
  • Conceptualise, create and position the partnership and design core resources to support a critical tender process
  • Manage the small tender team to produce and submit the first tender
  • Assist with subsequent tender submissions

On formalisation of the company, Sue also produced:

  • The brand and marketing strategy
  • Developed the logo and corporate identity
  • Wrote and produced the  website - www.alliancegrouppng.com
  • Wrote, produced and delivered all key marketing materials for launching the new business at a key industry conference in Port Moresby – ( in 10 days)
  • Produced sub-brand structure for TAG partners
  • Media relations, editorial and advertising

The ulitmate success for The Alliance Group is the winning the major contract for the LNG  Project with Chiyoda – for Exxon Mobil.
